Create Request Groups in Oracle Apps for submission of Concurrent Programs

Request group is required to allow submission of concurrent programs or request set from a specific responsibility. First request group is created, then programs/request sets are added to request group. Request group should be assigned to a responsibility from which we want to submit a program.

  1. Logon to ‘System Administrator’ responsibility.
  2. Go to Security-> Responsibility -> Request. Open this form.
  3. Query for the request group name. If not present, add it by filling following fields:

To submit any program we need to associate it with specific responsibility. Identify  the request group assigned for that responsibility and then add concurrent program/request set to that request group, then program will be present in your that specific responsibility for submission.

  1. Logon to ‘‘System Administrator’’ responsibility.
  2. Go to Security-> Responsibility -> Request. Open this form.
  3. Query for the request group name.
  4. Go to the ‘Requests’ section.
  5. Query for the program/request set name. If not present, add a record by filling following fields:

Type : <Program/Set depend on whether t is program or request set>

Name: <Program Name/request set name>

6.   Save
